Bunny and I are Nebraskans. We were both
born in Nebraska and have lived here most of
our lives. We were both raised around farming
and livestock. Both of us are the oldest kids in
our families. We both lived in the country and
the closest towns were both under 800 people.
We both went to a one room country school
with one teacher for all grades (K-8).
We currently live just outside of Papillion in a
100+ year old house that is insulated with mud
and straw and has no furnace. We heat
completely with wood and in 2009 we added a
Sunheat portable heater. Our three kids are
grown and we have 9 grandkids.
We have both been self employed for all our
adult lives. Lefty is retired from the U.S. Air
Force. Bunny has a medical background and is
currently a casino dealer. She also spent many
years as a 4-H leader.
